The slut puppets
Are from Queenstown and were formed in 2006 and consists of Mike Francis (Vocals) and Krist Killgrey (guitars). on their debut album they experimented with punk/thrash/heavy/rap/ska Rock styles. Still trying to manufacture their unique style, the slut puppets created a mixture of different songs because their writing skills of different genres of music styles are so vast. All drums and keyboards are computer programmed and then intergrated with the guitars, bass and vocals. Musicians are scarce in Queenstown and forming a complete band is hopeless as all the good musicians play for "Stone Cell" (another Queenstown band) So Krist was forced to untalently depend on a computer. Not are only musicians the problem but also decent equipment. So we're looking for any musicians interested in auditioning and sponsorships for equipment of any sort.
THe slut puppets are an unsigned band that recorded and produced their debut album with non-profitable organiztion Comatize Labels. They're constantly seeking Recording label/contract and distribution oppurtunities.
Mike Francis: Grew up in molteno and his talent was spotted last year in a bar when he was singing with the juke box. He later joined a cover band called "Human intervention". and then soon enough broke away with Krist to form the slut puppets.
Krist Killgrey: Grew up in Queenstown and has played guitar since he was 16. He is the co-founder of Comatize Labels and does all the pre and post cd production in his free time. Krist has played in many bands and some we're broadcasted on TV and radio over the years. He works on many different styles of music waiting to find the perfect sound that will drive the slut puppets into the SA music industry.
